PVT Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the billing portal at billing.pvt-studio.com for the private piano lesson studio located at 171 S Los Robles Ave, Pasadena, California. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to run lessons and billing:
- Name of the student and, for minors, the parent or guardian
- Email address and mobile phone number
- Lesson details (tier, frequency, rate, invoice history)
- Payment information handled through Stripe (we never see or store card or bank numbers)
How We Use Your Information
- Sending invoices, payment reminders, and receipts
- Coordinating lessons and scheduling
- Providing access to your billing portal account
- Responding to questions you send us
SMS Text Messaging
If you opt in to SMS notifications, we may send you text messages about your account. These messages include: a one-time account setup link, invoice-ready notifications, payment reminders, and payment confirmations.
Message frequency: approximately 4 messages per month per family.
Message and data rates may apply. Standard rates from your mobile carrier will apply to messages you send and receive.
Opting out: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance, or email office@pvt-studio.com.
We do not share mobile numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that make the portal work:
- Stripe — processes card and bank payments
- Supabase — stores account data and invoices
- Resend — sends billing emails
- Twilio — sends SMS notifications
- Vercel — hosts the portal
Each of these providers is bound by their own privacy commitments and processes data only to deliver the service to us.
Data Retention
We keep billing records for as long as your account is active plus a reasonable period afterward for tax and accounting purposes. You can request deletion of your account by emailing office@pvt-studio.com.
Your Choices
You can update your contact information at any time from your billing portal. You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP. You can pause email notifications by contacting us. You can request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing office@pvt-studio.com.
Children’s Privacy
The billing portal is used by parents or guardians on behalf of minor students. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated “Last updated” date.
