Text Messaging Program

PVT Studio is a private piano lesson studio in Pasadena, California. PVT Studio Billing Notificationsis the studio’s account notification program: it sends billing messages to enrolled families and adult students who have asked for them. It is not a marketing program, and messages go only to people with an active account at the studio.

Text to opt in

(626) 628-9826 is the only number PVT Studio sends billing text messages from, and the only number these keywords work on. Texting START, YES, or UNSTOP to it opts that number in. Texting STOP opts it out, and HELP returns our contact details. You can also opt in without texting, by ticking the consent box on your account setup page, described below.

What we send

• A one-time account setup link when an account is created
• A notice when a new invoice is ready
• A reminder before an invoice is due
• A confirmation when a payment is received

We do not send promotional, marketing, or third-party messages of any kind.

How to opt in

Texts are off unless you turn them on yourself. Nobody is enrolled by default, the studio cannot switch them on for you, and consent is never a condition of taking lessons or of paying an invoice. There are two ways to opt in:

• During account setup on this website. The setup page you reach from your invitation link shows a consent checkbox, unchecked, with a field for your mobile number. Checking it and creating your password opts you in.
• In the billing portal at any time. Sign in, open Settings → Text messages, check the same box, and save.
• By text message. Text START (or YES or UNSTOP) to (626) 628-9826 from the mobile number you want messages on. We reply once to confirm, and that number is opted in from then until it texts STOP.

A number that previously opted out can also resume messages by texting START to our number.

See the opt-in for yourself. The account setup form, including the consent checkbox in its default unchecked state, can be viewed without signing in at billing.pvt-studio.com/billing/setup. Visitors without an invitation see the form as a preview that submits nothing.

Frequency, rates, and cost

Message frequency is approximately 4 messages per month per account and follows your billing cadence. There is no charge from the studio. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message from us. You will get a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and we will not text you again unless you opt back in. You can also switch texts off under Settings → Text messages in the portal, or email us. Opting out of texts does not affect your account, your lessons, or your billing email.

Reply HELP to any message for contact information, or email office@pvt-studio.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. Phone numbers are used only to deliver the messages described here, and are passed only to Twilio, the carrier-facing service that transmits them on our behalf.
